BMR is conscious of the need to contribute to the social, economic and cultural life of the Zambian community in which it operates.
In 2013, prompted by the news that road accident victims and other Zambians were having to wait extended timeframes to be cared for by ambulance transport, BMR decided to donate two ambulances to the Zambian health authorities.
The ambulances were sourced in the United Kingdom. They were handed over in London to the Zambian High Commissioner to the UK, His Excellency Mr. Paul Lumbi and are now in service in Zambia.
In Kabwe, the Company has initially sponsored a local school including contributing to the construction of a safety wall, sports facilities and supplying a computer suite.
